Skype is currently in the middle of its second outage in the space of only a couple weeks.
A few minutes ago, the update from the official @skype Twitter account said, "We've identified the cause of the problem, and have begun to address it."
A link to the Skype blog says that users affected by the outage can expect to see improvements
