DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!

My blog just had it's 1,000th visitor! (& counting...)
That's about 999 more than I ever dreamed possible when I first stepped out of my comfort zone and onto the open road! I'll admit, I felt pretty insecure about traveling all around by myself...with no visible means of support...and I really wondered if the world was ready to embrace a liberated, straight-talking, globe-trotting bra such as moi?
Well, apparently it is...and you have...
and my cups runneth over with gratitude!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, my chaperon broke out the good stuff! I spent a very memorable evening snuggling up with someone special and an alluring vintage 1958 KJ, reminiscing about the past and marveling at how far we've traveled together! This I now know is true;
The best things in life ~ are not things at all...
and are definitely worth waiting for.

It's true...I have a special fondness for the Northern California coast - especially Bodega Bay in Sonoma County (where this picture was snapped by my "Ex"...mere hours before The Reunion...and that fateful moment which altered the way I view the world forevermore!)

After I've accomplished my goal of becoming the first bra in history to cover the entire globe, I think this is where I'd like to pack it in and hang it up for good. (Click on the photo for more pictures and information about one of my favorite places on earth.)

STURGIS and MT. RUSHMORE, South Dakota

Every August, thousands of bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts descend upon Sturgis, South Dakota for the
Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally! We stayed nearby at
Deadwood Dicks, and despite what the sign says, this place was anything BUT dead!

My chaperons and I could hardly wait to hit the town
and see what was goin' on!

Even from our balcony, I could see this was quite an intriguing

assemblage of bikes, bikers and babes!

I kinda thought this cute little leopard print number might want to
take off and travel around with me for a while...but...
she was too attached to her bike...darn it.

I hit the jackpot when we ran into these fun lovin' gals...who were tickled pink...and green, red, white, and blue to hoist me up
and pose for this picture...thanks girls!

My chaperon and I were literally in hog-heaven!

We also visited Mount Rushmore...which was awesome...

...but also a little intimidating with FOUR great big old stone-faced

Presidents of the United States of America staring down at me...

what do you suppose they were thinking?!?
