TA-TA Nevada!

Talk about a big bag of mixed emotions! After splittin' the sheets with my "Ex" a few days ago, I could barely contain myself as I said "Ta-Ta" to my loyal Nevada Chaperon...without whom, it's safe to say, I never would have gotten very far! As a couple of newly independent gals, we literally and figuratively covered a lot of territory together during these past 5 months! She, being my "Ex's" oldest and dearest friend, really went the extra mile and took me to SIXTEEN different locations in FOUR states! Between her and my daring little Italian Chaperon of my beloved Petaluma, I got TONS of exposure on the west coast! But now, it's time for me to move on to other parts of this big ol’ goofy world.
So Girls, let's lift our cups and toast - to friendship! Good friends are like good bras...
hard to find, comfortable, supportive, &
always close to the heart. Thanks for the memories!
Now...I'm off to Georgia where new friends and adventures await!
Ta-Ta! (For now!)

DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!

My blog just had it's 1,000th visitor! (& counting...)
That's about 999 more than I ever dreamed possible when I first stepped out of my comfort zone and onto the open road! I'll admit, I felt pretty insecure about traveling all around by myself...with no visible means of support...and I really wondered if the world was ready to embrace a liberated, straight-talking, globe-trotting bra such as moi?
Well, apparently it is...and you have...
and my cups runneth over with gratitude!
To celebrate this momentous occasion, my chaperon broke out the good stuff! I spent a very memorable evening snuggling up with someone special and an alluring vintage 1958 KJ, reminiscing about the past and marveling at how far we've traveled together! This I now know is true;
The best things in life ~ are not things at all...
and are definitely worth waiting for.

Wild, Wild West (CARSON CITY), Nevada

Last week, I saddled over to Carson City, Nevada and horsed with these handsome dudes...they were quite friendly and oh, so strong...had me singing "Home Home On The Range" in no time!

This flirtatious guy, aptly name Cruiser, spent a lot of time checking me out. Obviously, he was quite enamored...he even asked me to be his bridle...which I'll admit, did stirrup a few feelings...but I declined his proposal saying, "Sorry stud...I have no desire to harness myself to anyone (or thing) ever again...I've had enough of that horse and pony show to last a lifetime!"

Unfortunately, I think he took it a bit hard.
