Ta-Ta! (for now) Manchester, England

Today my visit with my fabulous 70's Chaperon came to an end, and The Posse turned out in full force to say goodbye!

Have you ever seen a more beautiful assemblage of support before?!

An especially touching moment came when Michelle (the leader of The Posse) presented me with some souvenirs...then reached out and taught me the Secret Posse Handshake as the rest of The Gang sang

"Hands Bras Across the Water!" *sniff-sniff*

Then, much to my utter astonishment...ALL of the goddesses appeared to wish me well as I embark upon my next exciting adventure!

(I hear I'm going to visit Daddy Papersurfer.)

As I was leaving, I heard them all chanting....an ancient spell...
something about....I'm not sure....but I think it was "Good Luck."Apparently they think I'm gonna need it?!?

This Old House ~ 70's Style - Manchester, England

Finally, here I am draped across 70's dressing table where she also proudly displays a photo of her lovely teenage daught...WAIT A MINUTE...

The house belonging to my current Chaperon,

70'steen, was built 100 years ago!

WoW!...that's OLD!

There are still fields/moss land at the back that run for miles...

and I hear she has a lovely back yard ooops...I mean garden...So let's go outside and take a peek... Ooooh yes...quite lovely indeed!

Why, I could just hang out here on this old chair and....

What 70's?...oh, it's a new chair? Sorry!

"Come on Olga...let's go for a little explore!"
"Geez 70's....how OLD is that green river?!?...

Dang! Looks like me and my big mouth have gotten me in trouble AGAIN.

Well, that's just tough titty!

'Cuz this is the way I see things...

I just call 'em as I see 'em!

*And THAT in my not-so-humble-opinion is an old green river.

Thankfully, 70's has a great sense of humor

and didn't leave me hanging on the fence for long...

we hurried back to her beautiful garden just in time to

catch the last few rays of light as the sun set on

another exciting day at Oldsville 70's house!

Well, I'm back in jolly old England - this time, Chaperoned by 70'steen of

Diary of a 70's Teen! And I'm thrilled right down to my underwires to finally get to meet her infamous band of bodacious British bras, also known as:

The Posse!

Here I am meeting the Posse Leader, Ms. Michelle George.

She's not only gorgeous, but very feisty...

"Come on girls...get yer lazy cups up and outta that drawer...Olga's here!"

Once we got The Posse rounded up, 70's broke out the disco ball, cracked open a bottle of wine, cranked up the tunes, and we all partied like it was 1979!

(I don't care what DaddyPapersurfer says...in my not-so-humble opinion,

these Northern bra'wds are top-drawer!)

Speaking of parties...I hear it's Mr. FuelMyBlog's birthday today! But, I'm not supposed to be talking about it and neither is Fracas...but since when did either of us follow the rules?....
