I'd like to give a great big Double-D THANKS to my SUPER BOLGA Chaperons for such a winning weekend! I feel so much sportier now! I'd really love to hang around and play, but I gotta run - the FedEx Express is waiting to take me back to Chico, California so I can pack up my big ol' bodacious bags and fly to Maui!

SUPER BOLGA Weekend - Olga Meets Banjo Man!

Day #2

Phew! What a day it's been! My Daring Little Italian Chaperon and The Boyfriend went above and beyond the call of duty today exposing me to the wonderful world of sports and all of the crrrrazy fans gathered here in Scottsdale, Arizona for Super Bowl XLII!Here I am hanging off the banjo of probably THE most famous, well-loved football fan of all time! Stacy Samuels, or as most of the world knows him; "Banjo Man!" This San Francisco 49er Faithful hasn't missed a home game for nearly 25 years! And while his banjo is HOT and his outfit an "eye-catcher," his best trademark is his whirly-bird beanie...an invention which has made him a cool millionaire! Samuels is president of Interstellar Propeller Inc. in Berkeley, which has sold more than 1.5 million beanies! And even though Banjo Man didn't sing "Happy Birthday" to me like my pal Mark Wills...hey, at least I got to touch his instrument!

SUPER BOLGA Weekend - SCOTTSDALE, Arizona

Day #1

After being intercepted by The Landlord, fumbled by The Boyfriend, and recovered by my Daring Little Italian Chaperon...I was all fired up and ready for some action!

First, I dropped in on the FBR Open...and the crowd went WILD!

Then, after we got kicked out decided to leave the golf course, Security the Hunky Welcoming Committee gave me LIFT over to the bar! Thanks guys!

After my Daring Little Italian Chaperon handed out ALL of my

business cards to every single guy in the place...

she finessed her way onto set of the Best Damn Sports Show Ever Period...

and sweet-talked Dave-from-New Jersey into taking this picture of the us,

up close and personal, with BDSSP Host, Chris Rose! Suh-weet!

Oh yeah!!!...The Super Bowl hasn't even started yet and

I'd say TEAM OLGA has already scored!

SUPER BOLGA?!!!

Yesterday I was just hanging around in peaceful, picturesque

Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, California...

...and then my Daring little Italian Chaperon
(formerly of Petaluma, California ~ now of Scottsdale, Arizona) called and said,

"Hey Olga! Get yer cups down here - there's a big golf tournament and football game in town this weekend! How'd ya like to come play around...maybe rub shoulders with the Big Guys?!"

And I said,

"I dunno...my last trip to Arizona didn't turn out so well, and I'm really not much of a sports-bra, but...hey...I'm game!!"

So, thanks to FedEx, here I am - less than 24 hours later, safe and sound, in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona! And I got quite a reception too!...after being intercepted by the landlord, fumbled and recovered by the boyfriend, I was handed off to my Sporty little Italian Chaperon, who took full possesion and is holding me tight as we head on over to the Best Damn Sports Show in Arizona!! Woo-hoo!!! Now THIS is the way to kickoff SUPER BOLGA WEEKEND!
